Equipping Health Care Professionals
Workshop sessions that range from one hour up to two days to train physicians, nurses, public health specialists, social workers and others who work within the health care “system” on how they can leverage their particular skills in addressing trafficking in persons. A variety of topics range from identification of victims, health consequences of human trafficking, trauma-informed care, as well as many others.
Katherine has presented these workshops in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Qatar, and the USA. Katherine is also available to speak at events such as hospital grand rounds, medical conferences, symposiums, and other functions.
